The LIS3DH is a 3-axis digital accelerometer module from Adafruit. This sensor is special in that it uses extremely little power, is inexpensive, and has many additional features that you may need. Can be used with all Arduino microcomputers as it supports both 3.3V and 5V power supplies and logic signals. It is particularly easy to control via I2C and SPI interfaces, so it can share the same connection with other i2C devices, and the manufacturer wrote it an Arduino control code library, further simplifying its use.

Technical data and additional functions:
● LIS3DH uses only 2uA currents on average, making it ideal for battery-powered projects
● 3-axis acceleration measurement with 10-bit accuracy
● G-measuring range: ± 2g / ± 4g / ± 8g / ± 16g (optional with control code)
● Supports SPI and I2C interfaces (address selectable from 0x1C or 0x1D)
● 1 to 5 kHz selectable data rate
● Separate tap, double tap, tilt and free fall sensations
● Dimensions: 21mm x 18mm x 2mm
● Weight: 1.3g
● Power and logic signal voltage: 3.3-5V DC
