Optimized for advanced materials
The Centauri Carbon 2 is designed to work with a wide spectrum of filaments—from everyday PLA and PETG to advanced carbon or glass fiber-reinforced materials. A fully enclosed chamber and an intelligent air circulation system help maintain a stable internal temperature, thereby reducing the risk of warping and cracking when printing complex materials such as ABS, ASA, PA, PC, PPS, and PPA composites.
A nozzle capable of reaching 350°C and a build plate heating up to 110°C ensure the thermal performance required for engineering projects. Thanks to a durable nozzle (a combination of brass and hardened steel) and a titanium alloy heat break, the printer is ideally suited for working with abrasive composite filaments and for long-term production runs.
Fast and precise CoreXY operation
Utilizing the CoreXY motion system, the Centauri Carbon 2 achieves print speeds of up to 500 mm/s and acceleration of 20,000 mm/s². Despite its high speed, the printer maintains excellent dimensional accuracy (±0.1 mm), making it suitable for both rapid prototyping and the creation of functional components.
A rigid frame, three Z-axis lead screws, and linear guide rails ensure stable movement and consistent layer quality, even during high-speed printing. Automatic calibration for reliable printing
To simplify setup and improve first-layer consistency, the printer features a 121-point automatic bed leveling system. Fully automatic calibration minimizes the need for manual adjustments, helping users achieve reliable results with minimal preparation time.
