The ANCEL L5000 PRO is an advanced leak detector designed to test automotive systems using air and smoke. It enables quick leak detection by introducing smoke into the system under test and operating in various modes—from low pressure (0.5 psi) to high pressure (20 psi). The device also supports pressure decay testing at a specified pressure and vacuum leak testing, which expands diagnostic capabilities when working with various vehicle systems.

Wide range of applications in vehicle system diagnostics

The detector is designed to test the tightness of many automotive systems. For example, you can use it to diagnose the EVAP system, the air intake system, the exhaust system, the intercooler system, the oil circuit, and water lines. The L5000 PRO model allows you to simulate the appropriate operating pressure conditions and quickly locate the source of a leak using visible smoke.

Various pressure modes and available tests

The ANCEL L5000 PRO supports a low-pressure mode of 0.5 psi, a high-pressure mode of 20 psi, and a linear mode with adjustable output pressure ranging from 0.5 to 20 psi. The device offers air leak testing, smoke leak testing, pressure decay testing, and vacuum leak testing. With a pressure resolution of 0.001 of the selected unit and a flow resolution of 0.01 l/min, the user can more precisely control the test process and analyze diagnostic results.

Intuitive control panel and self-diagnostics

The device is equipped with a control panel featuring an LCD screen and 4 function buttons. This allows you to conveniently select operating modes and adjust test parameters. Additionally, a self-test function is available, which enables the device to perform self-diagnostics in the event of operational issues.

Designed for workshop use

The L5000 PRO model is compatible with 12 V automotive batteries and offers a flow rate of less than 8 l/min. It also comes with a power cord and a smoke hose—each 2.5 m long—which makes it easier to work around the vehicle. You also have a Velcro strap for storing them and a hook for hanging the unit.

A set of adapters for various applications

The kit includes numerous adapters and accessories designed to work with various vehicle systems. In the package, you’ll find, among other things, adapter cones for holes with diameters of 25–55 mm, an EVAP service port adapter, a set of plugs, and an intake bladder designed for holes with diameters of 25–140 mm.
