Description Product Delivery

Deluxe Materials Tricky Stick is a surface primer designed to improve the adhesion of cyanoacrylate adhesives to difficult-to-bond plastic and foam materials. It provides strong adhesion to materials that are usually difficult to bond, including polypropylene, silicone and EPP foam. Simply apply before bonding to improve bond strength and ensure more reliable joints.

Improves adhesion to difficult-to-bond materials

Tricky Stick is designed to make cyanoacrylate adhesives effective even on low surface energy and smooth materials. By pre-treating the surface, the adhesive improves adhesion to materials that would otherwise be difficult to bond with standard CA adhesives.

Suitable for foam, plastic and technical materials

The product is suitable for a wide range of materials commonly used in model making, radio controlled projects, hobbies and technical projects. It is particularly suitable for EPP and EPO foam, as well as plastics such as polyethylene and polypropylene. Silicone, fluororubber materials and acetals can also be treated for better adhesion results.

Easy to use

Apply a thin layer of Tricky Stick to the surfaces to be bonded and allow to dry. Cyanoacrylate adhesive can then be applied to one surface before pressing the parts together until they harden. The product is used in conjunction with CA adhesives such as Deluxe Materials Rocket Rapid or Rocket Hot and acts as a primer to improve adhesion to difficult-to-bond materials.

For model building, repair and 3D printing

Tricky Stick is suitable for both hobby use and technical repairs where standard adhesives have difficulty bonding. It is useful for repairing foam models, plastic components, RC parts and certain 3D printed parts made of difficult-to-bond materials where a strong and reliable bond is required.
