DG4S-08020 DC servo controller

DG2S series controllers are designed to control the operation of brush DC motors (commutator DC motor, so-called Brush DC permanent magnet motor). The following controllers are available: DG2S 8020 (maximum operating voltage 80 V, current up to 20 A).

A programmer board is required for the above-mentioned controllers (in order to program the PID controller), and optionally a braking module. The purpose of each connector is explained in the individual instructions, the importance of LEDs, electrical and mechanical parameters are given. To provide feedback, an incremental encoder with A and B channels is needed. The control signals are the step and direction signals (Step/Dir).

DG2S series controllers can cooperate with any software implementing this type of control. e.g. the popular Mach3 program.

DG2S series controllers require two power sources for proper operation. One for powering the logical part, the second one for powering the engine. Typically, we can use a stabilized 12V DC voltage to power the logic. Unstabilized DC voltage is best for powering the motor. It should consist of a transformer, rectifier bridge, and filtering capacity. The power of the power supply should be matched to the motors powered. The supply voltage should be 5-10% higher than the rated motor voltage.

The current capacity should meet at least the rated current of the motor, or total motor current, if there are more of them. Please remember when selecting filter capacities, to use capacitors for the appropriate voltage. When selecting the capacitance value, we can use the following rule: for a supply voltage of less than 80V, we use 1000uF for every 1A of current. However, at voltage above 80V we use 2000uF per 1A.

Purchased items are delivered locally through Venipak service. Depending on availability of items, orders are processed within 1-3 work days. Orders made until 1AM are shipped the same day.

You can pay for the goods at the time of delivery to the courier in cash or by credit card. Payment to Omniva parcel terminals is only possible by bank card.
