The FY017 electric actuator converts the rotary motion of a motor into the linear motion of a piston rod. The version with a 500 mm stroke achieves a force of 250 N and a speed of 30 mm/s. An integrated encoder with Hall-effect sensors provides signals that a control system can use to track movement and determine the position of the piston rod.
Applications of the FY017 linear actuator
- The actuator can operate mechanisms requiring linear motion and function within an automation system that controls this movement. Examples include:
- opening windows, doors, and hatches in installations where the actuator's specifications meet the mechanism's requirements;
- moving machine components, such as covers, guides, or parts of adjustment mechanisms;
- integrating movable equipment into smart building systems;
- automating linear motion using a PLC or microcontroller;
- replacing a pneumatic actuator in a system where a compressed air supply is unavailable.
