Thermoactive PLA material is based on pure PLA with the addition of thermochromic pigment. This additive causes the 3D printer to change its color under the influence of a specific temperature. The diameter of the filament is 1.75 mm. The material is wound on a transparent spool and vacuum-packed.

In the case of Spectrum Thermoactive PLA product, it is the change of color from red to cream when the surface temperature exceeds 30 °C. The red color returns gradually once the component reaches a lower temperature (below 30 °C).
