One of the most important features of the mattress is its high insulation coefficient of R-value 5.6. This means very effective protection against heat loss to the cold ground. In practice, the mattress ensures comfortable sleep at temperatures around -7°C, and its usable limit reaches even -18°C. This makes the R05 Regular model ideal not only for summer, but also for spring, fall, and winter trips.

The Regular version offers the full width of the mattress along its entire length, which translates into greater freedom during sleep. This solution will be particularly appreciated by people who often change position at night or simply like to have more space. When unfolded, the mattress measures approximately 183 × 65 × 7 cm, providing comfortable support for the entire body and stability even on uneven ground.

The mattress uses an innovative system of U-shaped air chambers that stabilize the body and distribute pressure evenly during sleep. This allows the mattress to better adapt to the user's body shape and reduces the feeling of sinking into one part of the surface. This design also improves stability on the side and increases sleeping comfort throughout the night.

The mattress reaches a maximum thickness of approximately 10 cm, which effectively separates the body from cold and uneven ground. In the central part, the construction is approximately 7 cm thick, maintaining a perfect balance between stability and elasticity. This design makes even sleeping on rocky or hard ground much more comfortable.

The R05 model is designed based on a multi-layer thermal insulation structure that effectively retains heat in the mattress. The construction uses a durable 20D Ripstop Nylon layer, a tight TPU coating, a special aluminum heat-reflective coating, and air-insulating layers. The whole creates a system that minimizes heat loss to the ground and provides pleasant warmth even on cold nights.

The mattress is made of lightweight yet highly durable 20D Ripstop Nylon material, which has been designed for intensive outdoor use. The special Ripstop structure reduces the risk of tearing the material and prevents damage from spreading. An additional TPU coating increases the tightness of the structure and protects the mattress from moisture and abrasion.

The mattress is equipped with a one-way TPU valve, which makes it much easier to use when camping. The valve design prevents air from flowing back during inflation, making the process of preparing the mattress for sleep quick and convenient. After a night's sleep, the air can be deflated just as easily, allowing you to pack up your gear efficiently and get back on the road.

Every Flextail mattress undergoes a rigorous 4S Testing Standard quality control process. This includes a 48-hour pressure maintenance test, monitoring of air volume changes, and temperature control inside the mattress. These procedures ensure that the mattress remains stable and airtight even during prolonged use in demanding terrain conditions.

Despite its high level of comfort, the mattress remains very compact. When folded, it measures approximately Ø13 × 27.5 cm, so it fits easily into a trekking backpack or travel bag. Purchased items are delivered locally through Venipak service. Depending on availability of items, orders are processed within 1-3 work days. Orders made until 1AM are shipped the same day.
