The FNIRSI CTG-20 is an advanced paint thickness gauge with high sensitivity, accuracy and easy operation. The ability to automatically recognize the substrate (Fe / NFe / Fe+Zn) ensures reliable results in all conditions. Thanks to its compact design, weighing only 85 grams, it fits in your pocket and is always ready to use - just one click is all it takes to get an accurate measurement in seconds.

Multifunctionality and accuracy

The CTG-20 offers comprehensive support for three types of materials - iron, aluminum and zinc. The gauge has a highly sensitive probe with a resolution of 0.1 µm and a measurement range of up to 1400 µm. The gauge automatically recognizes the substrate and uses electromagnetic induction and eddy currents to accurately measure the coating thickness. With two measurement modes (single and continuous), you can adapt your working method to the specific situation, and the results (current, maximum, minimum and average) are clearly displayed on the screen.

Metal putty detection

The CTG-20 is an innovation in detecting hidden layers of sheet metal repair. The device can detect not only metal or primer, but also modern iron putties, which are designed to fool traditional meters. With this function, you can be sure that the car has not been masked by difficult-to-detect repair layers.

Convenient operation and quick calibration

The device was designed with ease of use in mind. The quick calibration function allows you to set zero with one button - just place the probe on the provided standard and press "ZERO". Intuitive operation also allows you to quickly switch between measurement units (µm / mil), and the automatic screen rotation allows it to adapt to your position.

Compact design, long operating time

The CTG-20 meter is distinguished by its lightweight design (only 115 mm long) and ergonomic handle for one-handed operation. The built-in 600 mAh lithium battery, rechargeable via USB-C, provides up to 8 hours of operation on a single charge. The automatic shutdown function after 5 minutes of inactivity extends battery life and saves energy.
