FNIRSI DPS150 is a compact, programmable laboratory power supply that combines high functionality with a portable form factor. The device provides voltage and current regulation, has an easy-to-read IPS display (In-Plane Switching - a matrix that uses parallel liquid crystals, which makes colors rich and perfectly reproduced), a number of protection elements and the ability to power from various sources - from classic DC power supplies to external batteries with the Power Delivery function. Due to various operating modes and support for computer control, it is suitable for both service and hobbyist and educational purposes.

Effective cooling and stable operation

The power supply uses high-quality thermally conductive silicone with a thermal conductivity coefficient of 3.0 W/mK, which ensures effective heat dissipation from the power supply components. The aluminum housing acts as a passive heat sink, ensuring stable operation even during long-term operation and under high load. The FNIRSI DPS150 has a full set of protections that protect both the power supply and the connected devices. Among other things, it offers protection against overvoltage (OVP), overload (OCP), short circuit (SCP), overheating (OTP), and input and output voltage changes.

Convenient operation

The integrated 2.8-inch color IPS display features high resolution (320 × 240 pixels) and 90° rotation for convenient use. The display displays voltage, current, power, temperature, and energy meters in real time. Depending on the user's preferences, the user can switch between graphical modes and a classic digital display. The DPS150 allows the user to save up to 6 preset voltage and current settings profiles. This allows for instant switching between operating modes, which significantly speeds up testing of different circuits or components.

High accuracy

The power supply has very low noise - ripple is less than 20 mV. This is very important when powering audio, microprocessor or sensitive sensor circuits. Thanks to digital regulation and an integrated control system, the voltage and current parameters are very stable and accurate.

Universal connection and various power supply methods

The power supply outputs support cables with 4 mm banana plugs, U-type branch terminals and classic copper wires. Robust metal threaded sockets guarantee secure contact and low contact resistance, which means accuracy and safe operation. The device can be powered from a classic DC 5-32V power supply or via a USB-C connector with PD (Power Delivery, USB-C fast charging technology) or QC (Quick Charge, a fast charging standard that significantly reduces battery charging time without compromising battery life), for example, from an external battery or laptop charger. This allows the DPS150 to be used without access to the mains, so it can be used in service or field work.
