The device allows you to test a variety of fruits and beverages, and will prove useful for quality control in laboratories and in everyday life, such as when shopping, in the kitchen or harvesting fruit. For example, the average Brix level for apples is 13.8%, for oranges 10.8%, for lychees 18.2%, for mangoes 15.6%, for strawberries 13.6%, and for glucose 17.2%.

The device features a 1.54-inch HD IPS screen that provides excellent data readability even in bright sunlight during field work. The FNIRSI JBM-20 allows instant measurement in as little as 3 seconds. Simply fill the measuring grooves to two-thirds of the volume with the fluid under test and press the measurement button - the result will appear instantly. One-button zeroing makes it easy to prepare the device for the next measurement - just pour water into the grooves and press the button to get a result of 0.0%. The use of a high-precision optical prism and smart sensors enables even faster and more accurate readings. Thanks to temperature compensation, results are accurate regardless of ambient conditions, eliminating errors due to temperature changes.

Rugged, waterproof design

The compact, lightweight design makes the refractometer convenient to carry - it will work well in the kitchen, as well as when shopping or working in the field. Thanks to its IPX6 water resistance and the use of PVC film and soft rubber covers, the refractometer can be easily washed without fear of damage. In addition, the electroplated measuring grooves are corrosion-resistant, easy to clean and durable, guaranteeing a long life for the device. A sunshade protects the measurement groove, the USB port is waterproof, while the ABS housing is drop-resistant.
