Płytki skrawające frezarskie, mocowane są w specjalnie wykonanych do tego gniazdach.
Zastosowanie głowic frezarskichGłowice frezarskie składane lub inaczej mówiąc na płytki wymienne przeznaczone są do obróbki przede wszystkim zgrubnej oraz średnio dokładnej ale i przy zastosowaniu odpowiednich płytek frezarskich mogą być użyte i do obróbki wykańczającej płaszczyzn.
Do swojego użycia wymagają zastosowania specjalnego trzpienia frezarskiego, który pośredniczy pomiędzy wrzecionem maszyny a głowicą frezarską. Głowica frezarska z trzpieniem nie występuję w komplecie i są one oddzielnymi narzędziami.
Do każdej głowicy musimy dobrać trzpień frezarski pasujący do tego modelu według otworu mocującego w głowicy, który może mieć wymiar fi 16 mm, 22, 27, 32, 40, oraz 60 mm.
