The large 12.2" screen with a resolution of 2400×1600 provides a comfortable workspace, and the electromagnetic pen with 16,384 levels of pressure sensitivity allows you to draw every line with precision. The 12.2" IPS display offers plenty of space for drawing, designing, and working with documents. This lets you comfortably focus on both the entire composition and its smaller details. A resolution of 2400×1600 at 236 PPI lets you see fine details clearly, while 99% sRGB coverage ensures a wide range of displayed colors. Add to that a brightness of up to 350 nits, which allows for comfortable use in a variety of conditions. The 3:2 aspect ratio fits more content vertically, so you’ll need to scroll less often when reading and viewing documents. Rounding out the package is an 81% screen-to-body ratio, which allows for a large display area while keeping the device compact.

The Kamvas Pad 12’s display offers a 90 Hz refresh rate, resulting in a smoother image. This feature is particularly important when using the stylus—it helps reduce the lag experienced while drawing and writing. This allows you to sketch more freely, make precise strokes, and take handwritten notes. A higher refresh rate also enhances the experience when gaming or watching movies.

The Kamvas Pad 12’s screen is made using Nano-Etched technology, which gives its surface a distinctive texture and provides a feel similar to writing on paper. This makes pen control more natural—both when sketching and taking handwritten notes. In addition, the Anti-Glare solution reduces glare by up to 99%, improving image visibility in bright environments and reducing eye strain caused by reflections. The design is complemented by an AF coating, which helps reduce the visibility of fingerprints on the screen.

The PW600C electromagnetic pen uses PenTech 4.0 technology and recognizes up to 16,384 pressure levels, allowing it to respond to subtle changes in pressure and naturally vary line width and saturation. Tilt support provides additional freedom during creation, and the built-in HV200 IC continuously records operating parameters and transmits them to the system, enabling accurate reproduction of your movements. The entire device weighs just 12 g and is equipped with a felt tip and a customizable side button. An additional advantage is the magnetic mount, which allows you to store the stylus right next to the tablet so it’s always within reach. The pen also stands out for its smooth operation, low latency, and compatibility with many drawing and note-taking apps.

The Huion HV2000 proprietary chip, developed specifically for handwriting recognition, ensures precise interaction between the tablet and the stylus. Thanks to 8-channel synchronous sampling, it records changes in pressure and tilt with millisecond precision, allowing even the most subtle movements made while sketching or writing to be faithfully reproduced on the screen. An advanced digital filter and anti-interference protection help maintain stable performance and eliminate cursor drift. Also noteworthy is the compact BGA package, measuring just 7 × 7 mm, which allows the chip to take up minimal space inside the device and enables a slimmer, lighter design.

The 8-core MediaTek Genio 720 MT8391 processor, manufactured using a 6-nm process, ensures smooth device operation. The chip combines two high-performance Cortex-A78 cores running at up to 2.6 GHz with six energy-efficient Cortex-A55 cores, allowing it to deliver sufficient power for more demanding tasks while minimizing power consumption during lighter use. Furthermore, its AI computing power is 10 TOPS. This architecture is well-suited for multitasking, where the tablet is used not only for drawing but also for running multiple apps and more.

The Kamvas Pad 12 is equipped with 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, which facilitates smooth switching between multiple apps and helps minimize lag during everyday use. 256 GB of fast UFS 3.0 storage is dedicated to files and programs. And if you need even more space for your projects, the tablet supports microSD cards with capacities up to 1 TB.

The tablet is compatible with a wide range of software, so you can easily tailor your digital workflow to your own creative style. It supports HiPaint, Clip Studio Paint, ibisPaint, Infinite Painter, Sketchbook, MediBang Paint, Krita, and Concepts, among others, and for note-taking, you can use HiNote, Goodnotes, OneNote, Notion, Notability, or Evernote. The international version comes pre-installed with HiPaint, Clip Studio Paint, ibisPaint X, MediBang Paint, and the Huion Store, so these tools are available immediately upon starting the device. The Kamvas Pad 12 lets you use two apps at the same time thanks to the split-screen feature available in landscape mode. This lets you make better use of the 12.2-inch workspace and perform two tasks without constantly switching between programs. Dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, and GPS further enhance your freedom of use.

Four high-quality speakers with a total output of 4 W deliver high-quality 360° sound, which, combined with the 2K+ display, makes the tablet ideal for watching movies or TV shows.
