An encoder is a device that converts rotational motion into a sequence of pulses. Inside there is a precise optical system with a laser-cut code disc. The use of an encoder allows you to measure the number of revolutions, rotational speed, distance, acceleration and direction of rotation.
HKT series encoders are designed for installation on the motor axis. They will be useful especially when modernizing older types of DC servo drives. Adapted to 8mm shaft.
