Kexcelled THE K9™ PPA CF15 is a high-performance PPA (polyphthalamide) filament reinforced with 15% carbon fiber. This material is designed for 3D printing applications that require high strength, low weight, and excellent heat resistance. The carbon fiber additive provides high rigidity, reduces shrinkage, and improves dimensional stability during the printing process. These properties make the material suitable for producing functional parts, tools, fixtures, and other components subject to mechanical loads and high temperatures.

PPA CF15 combines the strength of PPA with the rigidity of carbon fiber. The result is a material capable of withstanding high mechanical loads while remaining lightweight. It is an ideal choice for parts that need to be strong and maintain precise dimensions, even at elevated temperatures. High-Temperature Resistance
With a Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT) of up to 205°C, the material retains its shape even in hot environments. This makes the filament suitable for items such as mechanical parts, technical housings, and other components exposed to heat during use. Carbon fiber also helps reduce shrinkage and warping during the printing process.
Recommended Printing Settings
Printing with PPA CF15 requires a 3D printer capable of reaching higher temperatures. For optimal results, a hardened steel nozzle is recommended, ideally used with a printer featuring an enclosed build chamber.
- Nozzle temperature: 270–310°C
- Build plate temperature: 90–110°C
- Recommended print surface: Glue stick or high-temperature resistant tape
- Print speed: ≤250 mm/s
- Cooling fan: 0–50%
- Recommended nozzle: Hardened steel, at least 0.4 mm in diameter
As the material is sensitive to moisture, it should be stored in a dry place; for best results, it is recommended to dry the filament before printing. Specifications:
