The L7809 9V 1.5A stabilizer in the TO-220 housing is a very popular stabilizer used in the power supply systems of many electronics, household appliances, TV, SAT and all small electronics.
It is widely used due to its good current efficiency and wide input voltage range. It can be used as a replacement for other stabilizers and for use in your own DIY projects.
By generating a small amount of noise using small filters, manufacturers use it to power the logic of their devices.
