Microswiss FlowTech™ Hotend for Creality K2 / K2 Pro

The Micro Swiss FlowTech™ Hotend is designed as a plug-and-play hotend upgrade for Creality K2 and K2 Pro. Developed around the FlowTech ecosystem and genuine Bondtech CHT technology, it combines high material flow with simplified nozzle changes and a permanently sealed nozzle assembly.

With the included CHT High Flow nozzle, the hotend can achieve a maximum volumetric flow rate of up to 50 mm³/s. This makes it particularly suitable for taking advantage of the high-speed printing capabilities of the K2 platform while maintaining consistent filament delivery.

The included FlowTech nozzle uses genuine Bondtech CHT technology. Instead of moving the filament through the melt zone as a single stream, the CHT design divides the filament flow into multiple channels. This increases the contact area available for transferring heat into the filament and supports a maximum volumetric flow rate of up to 50 mm³/s.

Micro Swiss also states that the more uniform material deposition provided by this design helps reduce gaps and weak points between layers, improving layer adhesion.

FlowTech integrates the nozzle and titanium thermal break into a single permanently sealed assembly. This removes the conventional threaded connection between the nozzle and thermal break where molten filament can otherwise escape if the components are not tightened correctly.

The sealed design eliminates the need for traditional hot tightening and helps prevent filament leaks around the hotend.

The FlowTech design simplifies nozzle replacement by allowing the nozzle to be changed while cold. There is no need to heat the hotend and perform a hot-tightening procedure during installation.

The nozzle assembly can also be removed and installed with one hand, making it easier to switch nozzle types or sizes for different printing applications.

FlowTech uses a sealed heater-core design. According to Micro Swiss, enclosing the heating element and thermistor helps retain heat for stable and consistent printing temperatures while also protecting these components from damage.

The FlowTech Hotend uses an all-metal construction designed to handle a broad range of modern 3D printing filaments. Each hotend is machined and assembled by Micro Swiss in the USA and undergoes thermal cycling testing before packaging.

The FlowTech Hotend for Creality K2 and K2 Pro supports printing temperatures of up to 300°C.

The supplied 0.4 mm CHT High Flow CM2™ nozzle combines a copper chromium zirconium body with an M2 hardened high-speed steel insert. Both components use electroless nickel plating, while the hardened insert also features a non-stick nano WS2 coating.

The hardened steel insert is heat treated to 68 HRC, making the included nozzle suitable for applications where greater wear resistance is required.

The hotend is compatible with the wider Micro Swiss FlowTech nozzle ecosystem, allowing the nozzle configuration to be adapted for different materials and applications. Compatible FlowTech options include Brass Plated, CM2™ Hardened Tip, High Flow CHT, High Flow CHT CM2™, Hyper-CHT™ and DiamondBack nozzles.
