Mingda MD-1000D Ultra

With a build volume of 1000 × 1000 × 1000 mm, the MD-1000D Ultra is designed to produce large components in a single piece. It is suitable for functional prototypes, production parts, tools, fixtures and larger models for applications such as the automotive and manufacturing industries.

The MD-1000D Ultra is equipped with two extruders and can use different materials in the same print. This makes it possible to combine model and support materials and simplifies the production of complex parts with overhangs and other challenging geometries.

The nozzle system supports a standard diameter of 0.6 mm, with 0.4 and 0.8 mm available as options. The dual-nozzle configuration uses an integrated camera system for automatic XY offset calibration between the two nozzles.

The nozzles can reach temperatures of up to 350 °C, while the build plate can be heated to 110 °C. The printer is therefore suitable for a wide range of materials, from PLA and PETG to fibre-reinforced and other technical filaments such as PET-CF/GF, PA12-CF, HtPA-CF/GF and PPS-based materials.

The enclosed build chamber provides a more controlled printing environment for larger and longer prints and helps maintain stable conditions when printing with technical materials.

The MD-1000D Ultra offers a maximum printing speed of 300 mm/s, with a maximum movement speed of 500 mm/s in the XY direction and a maximum material flow rate of 40 mm³/s. This high capacity is particularly useful when printing large models where long print times can otherwise be a limiting factor.

Mingda recommends a printing speed of 200 mm/s for PLA, 180 mm/s for PETG and 100 mm/s for PET-CF.

The camera system is used for automatic XY offset calibration between the two nozzles, while the Z offset is calibrated automatically using a probe. This reduces the need for manual adjustment and simplifies setup before printing.

The printer also features AI-based monitoring that can identify common printing problems such as first-layer issues, warping, spaghetti, nozzle blobs and foreign objects in the print area. When a problem is detected, the print can be paused for inspection.

The integrated 10-inch colour touchscreen provides access to the printer's functions and status. The MD-1000D Ultra can be connected via Wi-Fi, Ethernet or USB and supports remote monitoring, control and printing.

With the accompanying mobile app, prints can be monitored and basic functions such as starting, pausing and stopping prints can be controlled remotely.

The MD-1000D Ultra is equipped with features designed to simplify long and complex prints. Filament detection pauses the print when the filament runs out, while the power-loss recovery function allows the print to continue from the saved position once power is restored.

The printer also features automatic bed levelling and an enclosed chassis for a more controlled printing environment.

The MD-1000D Ultra uses MINGDA's own slicer based on OrcaSlicer. The software includes ready-made profiles for different materials and supports formats including 3MF, STL, STP, STEP, AMF and OBJ.

The printer is delivered assembled and calibrated to simplify installation and getting started with printing.

Purchased items are delivered locally through Venipak service. Depending on availability of items, orders are processed within 1-3 work days. Orders made until 1AM are shipped the same day.

Local delivery  (1-4 w.d.) price for items of any size is through through courier service is 4.90€ (incl. VAT), if the amount of the shopping cart exceeds 150€ - delivery is free.

Local delivery price to Venipak parcel terminals (1-3w.d.) is 2.90€ incl. VAT, if the amount of the shopping cart exceeds 50€ - delivery is free.

Local delivery price to Omniva parcel terminals (1-3w.d.) is 3.90€ incl. VAT,if the amount of the shopping cart exceeds 70€ - delivery is free.
