The Mintion M4 x 8.1mm x 6.3mm Threaded Insert Set is built for applications where 3D-printed parts must handle higher loads and repeated assembly. With 50 robust inserts in a single size, this pack is ideal for structural frames, machine mounts, larger brackets and other demanding mechanical assemblies.

Each insert features an M4 internal thread, 8.1 mm length and approximately 6.3 mm outer diameter. The larger geometry provides a wide contact area in the plastic, helping distribute forces and increase resistance to pull-out and cracking under load.

The knurled brass body delivers excellent grip in materials such as PLA, PETG and ABS. When heat-set correctly, the insert melts into the surrounding plastic and locks in place as it cools, providing a durable and serviceable threaded connection far superior to directly tapping threads into printed parts.

With 50 inserts included, this set offers enough hardware for multiple projects without overstocking. It is particularly suited to printer upgrades, CNC and robotics projects, machine panels and larger enclosures that rely on M4 fasteners.

The inserts are designed for installation with heat-set insert tools, soldering irons and suitable adapter tips. Once the insert is heated and pressed into the hole, the knurling keys into the plastic, creating a reliable anchor for bolts and screws.

Common applications include mounting stepper motors and linear rails, securing metal brackets to printed parts, fastening enclosure frames, attaching hinges and latches, and any assembly where strong M4 hardware is required in 3D-printed components.

Purchased items are delivered locally through Venipak service. Depending on availability of items, orders are processed within 1-3 work days. Orders made until 1AM are shipped the same day.

Local delivery  (1-4 w.d.) price for items of any size is through through courier service is 4.90€ (incl. VAT), if the amount of the shopping cart exceeds 150€ - delivery is free.

Local delivery price to Venipak parcel terminals (1-3w.d.) is 2.90€ incl. VAT, if the amount of the shopping cart exceeds 50€ - delivery is free.

Local delivery price to Omniva parcel terminals (1-3w.d.) is 3.90€ incl. VAT,if the amount of the shopping cart exceeds 70€ - delivery is free.

Payment on delivery (COD) +2.00€ (incl. VAT).

You can pay for the goods at the time of delivery to the courier in cash or by credit card. Payment to Omniva parcel terminals is only possible by bank card.

A separate delivery fee applies to oversized items, regardless of the amounts and conditions stated above.
