PGYTECH RetroVa Grip Kit Photography Set for the iPhone 16 Pro Max
The PGYTECH RetroVa Grip Kit makes it easier to take photos and record videos with your iPhone 16 Pro Max. The kit includes a case and a grip equipped with buttons and dials, so you can control many of the most important functions without constantly touching the phone’s screen. The grip also allows you to save content to a microSD card and works with the PGYTECH Pro Imaging app. Additionally, it connects to your iPhone via Bluetooth, enabling remote control functionality. The built-in 300 mAh battery provides approximately 48 hours of operation, and a full charge takes about 1.5 hours. The entire design is inspired by classic cameras, so when your phone is mounted, it not only gains additional capabilities but also a distinctive look.
Buttons and dials that make photography easierThe mount features a zoom lever, a control dial, a multifunction button, and a shutter button. Pressing the shutter button halfway focuses the image, pressing it fully takes a photo, and holding it down activates continuous shooting. The control dial lets you adjust settings such as ISO, exposure, and white balance, while the zoom lever is used to control the zoom and switch between focal lengths.
Save photos and videos to a microSD cardThe microSD slot built into the grip allows you to save content outside of your iPhone’s storage. This is especially useful during extended recording sessions or when taking a large number of photos—you don’t have to worry about running out of space on your phone. UHS-I and UHS-II cards are supported, including microSDXC and microSDHC, with a maximum theoretical transfer speed of up to 312 MB/s. External storage also supports RAW photos and supported video formats, including ProRes and HEVC.
More Features with the PGYTECH Pro Imaging AppOnce you connect the grip to your iPhone via Bluetooth, you can use the PGYTECH Pro Imaging app. Among other features, it offers retro filters, manual mode, various recording formats, and a special interface that makes it easier to control settings while shooting. It also allows you to manually adjust parameters such as ISO, shutter speed, and white balance.
MagSafe Case and Tripod Mounting CapabilityThe set includes a case designed for the iPhone 16 Pro Max. It’s made of polycarbonate, and its design is inspired by classic cameras. The accessory supports MagSafe and does not interfere with wireless charging—you don’t have to give up compatible magnetic accessories. The base of the grip features a 1/4" thread, allowing you to mount your phone on a tripod, and the entire system can be further expanded with an optional filter adapter ring.
