PiTalk 2G HAT is a module supporting GSM/GPRS + GNSS wireless communication based on the SIM868 chip. It works at 850/900/1800/1900 MHz frequencies. The maximum transmission speed for GPRS class 12 is 85.6 kbps. It was designed for IoT devices (Internet of Things) and applications requiring operation without an Ethernet or WiFi connection. Works with Raspberry Pi (models A, B and Zero) as a HAT shield. The built-in CH340 chip also allows it to work as a USB module.
