Smart electricity meter, Matter over Wi Fi SONOFF MINI-1GP

Smart electricity meter, Matter over Wi Fi SONOFF MINI-1GP

SONOFF MINI 1GP is a compact smart electricity meter with Matter over Wi-Fi technology, designed to monitor electricity consumption in real time. The device can measure energy flow in both directions, so it is suitable not only for electricity consumption, but also for monitoring the energy produced by a solar power plant.

MINI 1GP allows you to monitor energy consumption via the eWeLink app, local web interface or Home Assistant . Data can be stored locally and energy consumption history can be analyzed over a longer period of time. It is also possible to set the electricity price and monitor the estimated energy consumption.

The device supports loads up to 16 A and can be used with a variety of higher-power household appliances. It can also notify you when the connected device has finished operating, making it convenient to monitor, for example, kettles, coffee machines, ovens or other electrical appliances.

MINI 1GP has a native Web interface , so the device can be configured and monitored directly through a browser, without using the cloud. For more advanced smart home systems , HTTP, WebSocket, MQTT and Open API are supported, so the device can be integrated with Home Assistant, OpenHAB, ioBroker and Node RED.

Important: MINI 1GP is not a smart switch and cannot turn on or off the connected device. Its purpose is only to measure and monitor electricity.

Matter Over WiFi Smart Electricity Meter — MINI PM (MINI-1GP)

With a simple retrofit, turn a regular electrical appliance or wall socket into an energy meter.

*A 60 mm deep wall box insert is recommended.

Monitor energy consumption in real time and view historical trends using the app, local web interface, or Home Assistant to better understand and manage your energy consumption.

Bidirectional energy monitoring shows you exactly how much energy your solar panels are producing. Track your output and know how much you're saving with every ray of sunshine.

Designed for high-load devices with a maximum current of 16 A, it also acts as a protector that monitors electrical safety.

Configure and monitor your device directly from a web browser on your local network. Reduce your dependence on the cloud while enjoying faster local access and greater privacy.

Supports JSON-RPC 2.0 over HTTP, WebSocket, and MQTT to access device data.

Set your energy consumption limit and maintenance interval. The system automatically accumulates operating time exceeding the set limit and alerts you when it is time for maintenance.

Set once and you will receive a notification when the energy consumption remains below the limit for a set period. The delay function prevents temporary energy drops during the washing machine's filling and emptying cycles from being mistakenly recognized as the end of the cycle.

You can add devices to Home Assistant via MQTT or Matter, providing real-time monitoring, automation, and seamless integration into your smart home.

*Note: Due to platform limitations related to the energy meter feature in the Matter ecosystem, some Matter platforms (e.g. Alexa, Google Home, Apple Home, SmartThings) do not currently support connecting the MINI-1GP.

1. Matter Bridge: Bridge-M, ZBBridge-U, iHost, Cube OS with SONOFF Zigbee dongle
2. To use this feature, you need to add the device to the eWeLink app via the SONOFF Zigbee gateway and synchronize it with third-party platforms using cloud-to-cloud integration.
3. Direct access to Alexa/SmartThings ecosystems through dedicated ecosystem gateways.
