MEROSS MS220 Smart Multifunctional Door Sensor
The MEROSS MS220 is a 5-in-1 smart sensor that combines the functions of a door sensor, doorbell, vibration sensor, night light, and smart home control button. The device helps you monitor your home’s entrance, detect vibrations, and conveniently control selected smart home functions. It features Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connectivity, an IP65-rated housing, and a replaceable CR123A battery. A 100 dB alarm quickly alerts you to any unauthorized door openings. A Meross Bluetooth hub is required to use features that require a network connection, such as cloud-based event history.
Door and Vibration SensorThe MEROSS MS220 allows you to monitor when doors are opened and closed, helping you control access to a room. Additionally, the built-in vibration sensor detects vibrations and shocks that may occur, for example, when someone attempts to tamper with the door. The adjustable sensitivity allows you to tailor vibration detection to the installation location and your specific needs. A loud 100 dB alarm provides an additional warning against unwanted activity.
Doorbell and Smart ButtonThe device can also function as a doorbell. Simply press the button on the sensor to trigger an audible signal in a compatible Meross hub. The button also allows you to configure custom actions and automations, enabling you to control selected smart home devices. This lets you combine several daily tasks into one compact device.
Built-in Night LightThe MEROSS MS220 features a built-in night light that provides an additional light source near the door. It’s especially useful after dark, when you need gentle lighting at the entrance. As a result, the sensor not only enhances safety but also makes using the room more convenient.
Durable Design and Smart Home ConnectivityThe IP65-rated housing provides protection against dust and water jets, and the operating temperature range of -20°C to 60°C allows the device to be used even in harsh conditions. The sensor has compact dimensions of 31.5 × 29.5 × 85 mm and is powered by a replaceable CR123A battery, included in the package. It works with smartphones running iOS 13 or Android 8.0 and later. To use network features, including cloud-based event history, a compatible Meross Bluetooth hub and a Wi-Fi network are required. The hub is also needed to play the ringtone. It’s worth considering whether you’ll need one before making a purchase.
