NOUS E13 is a smart ZigBee water leak sensor that helps you quickly detect water leaks and reduce the risk of potential damage. When a leak is detected, the sensor activates an audible alarm of more than 80 dB and can send a notification to your phone via the TUYA smart home system.

Does the NOUS E13 have an audible alarm?
Yes. The sensor has an integrated 80 dB audible alarm, so you will be alerted on the spot about the detected water, even if you are not looking at your phone at the time.

Does NOUS E13 require a ZigBee station?
Yes. Smart features require a NOUS E1, NOUS E7 or other compatible TUYA ZigBee base station. The sensor itself does not connect directly to a Wi-Fi network.

Where is it best to use a water leak sensor?
It can be installed near the washing machine, dishwasher, sink, water heater, pipes and other places where there is a risk of water leakage. The sensor contacts or detection cable should be placed where the leaked water will reach them as soon as possible.

Why do I need a 1 meter detection cable?
The cable allows you to increase the monitoring area or detect water in hard-to-reach places. This is especially useful under kitchen furniture, near pipes or behind household appliances.

What batteries does the NOUS E13 use?
The sensor requires two AAA batteries. Their status can be checked in the Nous Smart Home app.
