SUNSUN CUV-6110 55W UV-C Lamp

The SUNSUN CUV-6110 UV-C lamp with a power of 2x55W was designed for effective water purification in garden ponds, ornamental ponds, and fish tanks. With a total power of 110 W, the device helps reduce the growth of algae, bacteria, mold, and other microorganisms responsible for deteriorating water quality. The model supports a flow rate of up to 8,000 l/h at a maximum operating pressure of 1.0 bar. The lamp is suitable for ornamental ponds with a capacity of up to 120,000 liters, fish ponds up to 60,000 liters, and Koi carp tanks up to 36,000 liters. Universal adapters allow for the connection of hoses with diameters of 25 mm, 32 mm, 38 mm, or 50 mm, facilitating integration with most filtration systems.

The device uses UV-C radiation to eliminate harmful microorganisms in the water. This helps reduce the growth of algae that cause green water and decreases the number of bacteria and mold spores. The purification process occurs without the use of chemicals, making it safe for fish, plants, and the natural biological balance of the pond. Regular operation of the lamp helps maintain better water clarity and improves conditions in the garden pond or pond.

Inside the housing, a special helical insert directs the water along a spiral path around the UV-C lamps. This design extends the water’s exposure time to the radiation, resulting in more effective destruction of algae and microorganisms. Compared to standard designs, this allows for better clarification results while maintaining high flow rates. With adequate exposure to UV-C light, the first effects of water purification can be noticeable after about 14 days of operation.

The CUV-6110 model is designed to minimize the need for frequent cleaning and maintenance. Unlike some devices that use reflectors to bounce UV light, it is not prone to a drop in effectiveness caused by dirt buildup on the light-reflecting surface. This makes it easier to keep the unit in good condition, and its performance remains stable over the long term. The best results can be achieved by combining the UV-C lamp with a biological filter, which supports natural water purification processes and helps maintain a high-quality environment for fish and plants.
