SUNSUN JY-03 Surface Filter

The SUNSUN JY-03 is a compact surface skimmer designed to remove debris that accumulates on the surface of the aquarium water. The device, with a capacity of 300 l/h, is equipped with a floating head that automatically adjusts to water level changes within a range of up to 4 cm, allowing it to effectively collect oily sludge, protein skim, and other floating debris from the surface. The JY-03 model also features an aeration function with adjustable intensity and a small sponge that traps collected debris. Its compact size and simple suction cup mounting make it easy to install in most freshwater aquariums.

A layer of contaminants often accumulates on the aquarium surface, reducing the tank’s aesthetic appeal and hindering gas exchange. The SUNSUN JY-03 is designed for continuous collection of such deposits without the need for manual removal from the water surface. The floating head maintains the correct position relative to the water surface, allowing the device to operate effectively even with slight fluctuations in water level. This helps keep the aquarium surface clearer and improves its appearance.

The device allows you to adjust the operating height of the floating head using a knob located on the housing. This allows you to adjust the skimmer’s position to the conditions in the aquarium and optimize debris collection efficiency. Additionally, the model is equipped with an adjustable aeration valve that allows you to control the amount of air drawn in. This solution increases surface water movement and enables you to tailor the device’s operation to your individual needs.

The SUNSUN JY-03 is equipped with suction cups that ensure stable mounting to the aquarium glass. The built-in sponge traps debris collected by the skimmer, so it can be periodically removed and cleaned. The compact design does not take up much space inside the tank, and its operation does not require complicated steps. It is a practical solution for those who want to reduce the buildup of debris on the water’s surface and maintain the aquarium’s aesthetic appearance.

Purchased items are delivered locally through Venipak service. Depending on availability of items, orders are processed within 1-3 work days. Orders made until 1AM are shipped the same day.
