Technical Specifications - Super Lube Heat Sink Compound 98003
Super Lube Heat Sink Compound 98003 is a non-curing, thermally conductive silicone paste developed to improve heat transfer between electronic components and heat sinks or chassis.
Improved Contact Between Components and Heat SinksThe compound fills microscopic surface imperfections between an electronic component and its heat sink or chassis. By reducing air pockets at the interface, it supports more efficient heat transfer away from CPUs and other heat-generating elements.
Stable, Non-Curing Silicone PasteThe white silicone paste will not harden, dry out or melt. It adheres to metal surfaces, has low bleed and remains viscosity-stable and thermally stable across a broad operating range.
Anti-Seize Support and Easier DisassemblyIn addition to its thermal function, the compound has anti-seize properties that help prevent galling, seizing and corrosion. It also lubricates the interface to make later disassembly easier.

Clean and dry the area to be treated. Apply the compound to the base of the device case so that complete contact is created between the device and the heat sink or chassis. Reapply when necessary.
Material SuitabilityThe manufacturer states that the compound will not react with rubber or plastic. Because actual materials and operating conditions vary, carry out a suitability test before use when compatibility is uncertain.
