Super Lube® O-ring silicone grease - 85 gr

Super Lube O-Ring Silicone Grease is a non-curing, heavy-consistency silicone compound formulated for the lubrication, sealing and conditioning of O-rings. It can also be used on compatible components in regulators, valves, pneumatic systems and vacuum equipment.

The 93003 version is supplied in an 85 g tube, providing a convenient format for maintenance, installation and assembly work.

Applying the grease during installation helps reduce the risk of damage caused by abrasion, pinching or cutting. The lubricant also helps the O-ring seat correctly in its groove, which can simplify manual assembly and support automated assembly processes.

Before application, clean the mating surfaces and apply the grease evenly. Do not mix it with other greases.

The grease is suitable for both static and dynamic O-rings. In dynamic pneumatic applications, correct lubrication can reduce friction and wear, helping to extend the service life of seals and equipment components.

Typical applications include pneumatic systems, valves, pressure plug valves, water softeners, faucet valves, pool pumps, filter seals, weather stripping and rubber gaskets.

In vacuum and chamber applications, the grease helps fill microscopic spaces between the seal and gland surfaces. This can reduce the overall leak rate by limiting permeation through the elastomer and improving the effectiveness of the seal.

The silicone compound is waterproof, heat stable and resistant to water washout. It helps seal out moisture and protects compatible components against moisture and oxidation across a temperature range from -40°C to 260°C.

Its dielectric strength also makes it suitable for applications where electrically insulating properties are beneficial, provided the material and application requirements have been verified.

Super Lube O-Ring Silicone Grease is NSF H1 registered for incidental food contact under registration number 156444. It is also described by the manufacturer as suitable for potable-water applications and is Kosher certified.

These properties make it suitable for compatible seals and components used in food-processing equipment, water systems and related maintenance applications.

The grease is compatible with most common plastics and elastomers, including ABS, PA, PC, PE, PET, PBT, PP, PTFE, PVC, EPDM, nitrile rubber, natural rubber, neoprene and FKM.

Important: The manufacturer rates compatibility with silicone rubber types FMQ, PMQ, MQ, VMFQ and VMQ as not compatible. Always verify the seal material before application and perform a suitability test when the material or operating conditions are uncertain.
