Super Lube® Silicone oil 100 cSt - 118 ml

Super Lube Silicone Oil 100 cSt is a straight-chain polydimethylsiloxane fluid designed to provide stable lubrication over a broad temperature range. Its low change in viscosity with temperature makes it suitable for rubber and plastic parts, instruments and controlled-motion systems.

The oil provides excellent lubricity for a wide range of rubber and plastic components. Its chemically inert formulation, spreading capability and wetting performance support smooth application on suitable surfaces.

A viscosity of 100 cSt at 25°C gives the oil a fluid consistency that flows readily while remaining suitable for damping, flow control and motion-control technologies. The manufacturer also recommends this viscosity for instruments, gauges and devices exposed to extreme temperatures and high pressures.

The specified operating temperature range is -50°C to 200°C. Low viscosity variation at elevated temperatures, a pour point of -55°C and a flash point above 300°C support use in demanding thermal environments.

The 100 cSt grade has a dielectric strength of 16 kV/mm at 25°C, a refractive index of 1.403 and thermal conductivity of 0.16 W/m°C. The manufacturer identifies it as suitable for laboratory baths, heat-transfer applications, optics research, LED technology and sensor technology.

Super Lube Silicone Oil is NSF H1 registered, number 151067, for incidental food contact and meets former USDA H1 guidelines. It is not described as suitable for direct food contact.

Clean and dry the area to be treated, apply the silicone oil and reapply as necessary. The manufacturer recommends testing suitability under the intended operating conditions. Recommended shelf life is five years in the original container under reasonable ambient conditions.

Purchased items are delivered locally through Venipak service. Depending on availability of items, orders are processed within 1-3 work days. Orders made until 1AM are shipped the same day.

Local delivery  (1-4 w.d.) price for items of any size is through through courier service is 4.90€ (incl. VAT), if the amount of the shopping cart exceeds 150€ - delivery is free.

Local delivery price to Venipak parcel terminals (1-3w.d.) is 2.90€ incl. VAT, if the amount of the shopping cart exceeds 50€ - delivery is free.
