The SY-CF4A 20A flexible inline fuse provides overcurrent protection for DC photovoltaic (PV) systems. Featuring a flexible cable design with factory-installed DC connectors, it serves as a modern alternative to traditional, rigid fuses housed in modular enclosures, allowing the fuse to be connected directly into the cable line without the need for additional switching components.
This integrated design eliminates unnecessary electrical resistance and mechanical stress at the installation point. It ensures effective protection for PV modules and equipment against overloads and short circuits, facilitating continuous and safe power transmission within electrical systems.
Key Features and Advanced Technology
- Flexible Cable Design: Integrating the fuse directly into the cable allows for easy routing in confined installation spaces without the risk of mechanical damage to the connectors.
- Factory-Installed DC Connectors: Standardized connectors at both ends of the cable eliminate the need for soldering or extra connection points, ensuring a reliable, sealed "Plug & Play" connection.
- Effective Overcurrent Protection: With a 20A rated current, it provides precise protection for PV string branches against reverse currents and DC short circuits.
- Rated current: 20A
- Fuse type: In-line DC fuse
- Circuit type: Direct current (DC)
