The TerraMaster F4-425 Plus is a modern NAS server equipped with a quad-core Intel N95 processor clocked at up to 3.4 GHz, 8 GB of DDR4 memory, and 4 SATA drive bays. The design has been further enhanced with 3 M.2 NVMe slots, two 5GbE network ports, and extensive data management and backup features. With support for multiple RAID levels, AES-NI hardware encryption, and an advanced TOS system, the device is ideal both as a central file storage solution for businesses and as a private cloud for home users. The F4-425 Plus combines large capacity, high performance, and extensive expandability in a single compact chassis.

Modern Intel N95 hardware platform

At the heart of the device is the Intel N95 processor based on the Alder Lake architecture, featuring 4 cores and 4 threads. The processor reaches a frequency of up to 3.4 GHz in Turbo mode, ensuring smooth operation while simultaneously sharing files, creating backups, or running server applications. The integrated graphics chip supports hardware decoding and transcoding of H.264, H.265, MPEG-4, and VC-1 content at a maximum resolution of 4K Ultra HD (4096 × 2160) at 60 fps, reducing the load on the CPU when running applications such as Plex, EMBY, or Jellyfin. The pre-installed 8 GB of DDR4 memory allows for smooth operation of multiple services simultaneously, and the memory can be expanded up to 32 GB.

Fast network communication thanks to dual 5GbE

The TerraMaster F4-425 Plus is equipped with two 5GbE network ports, which support advanced network configurations, including Link Aggregation and SMB Multichannel. With the right infrastructure, the device can achieve linear write speeds of up to 1010 MB/s using SMB Multichannel. Such high bandwidth is ideal for simultaneous use by multiple users, editing large multimedia files, or performing fast backups. An additional advantage is the USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports with a bandwidth of up to 10 Gb/s, which allow for convenient connection of external storage devices.

Private Cloud and Smart Photo Management

The TNAS system lets you create your own private cloud without having to pay for subscriptions or use external data storage services. Thanks to remote access technology, you can access your files from anywhere in the world. Built-in artificial intelligence algorithms analyze photos directly on the device, eliminating the need to upload private data to a public cloud. The system automatically recognizes people, animals, objects, and scenes, making it easier to organize large photo libraries and quickly find the content you need.

Advanced data protection and comprehensive system features

The F4-425 Plus offers a wide range of tools to protect data against loss and unauthorized access. The device supports AES encryption, Snapshot, OTP authentication, SSL certificates, firewall protection, and the HyperLock system. Extensive backup mechanisms are also available, such as Time Machine, Rsync Backup, CloudSync, USB Backup, Duple Backup, and Centralized Backup. With support for Docker, Plex Media Server, EMBY, Surveillance Manager, and VPN Server, the server can function as a media center, a monitoring platform, a container environment, or a secure remote access server.
