This module is equipped with a converter that allows communication between USB and UART serial interfaces on the TTL level. It has a built-in FT232 chip and operates with a voltage range from 3.3 V to 5 V, which is selected by the jumper. The device operates at a full USB speed of 12 Mbps. The module can be used to exchange data between computer and microcontroller systems or to program electronic kits with serial interfaces, such as Arduino or STM32Discovery. A cable with a USB type C connector is required to connect the chip to a computer.
