Vallejo Model Color is a high-quality acrylic paint for miniatures, figurines and models. Model Color is designed for painting plastic, resin, metal and 3D printed models where fine details are essential. The updated formula was developed in collaboration with experienced figure painters and model makers to ensure accurate color reproduction, better brush control and consistently excellent results.

The paint dries quickly to a smooth matte finish, preserving even the smallest details of the model. For optimal adhesion, color accuracy and durability, we recommend applying Model Color paints to a primed surface. Vallejo Surface Primer provides the perfect base for achieving the best possible results.

Easier color selection with Vallejo BSL

Model Color paints are categorized according to Vallejo's BSL (Base, Shade, Light) system, making it easy to select colors for basecoat, shading and highlights. The range also includes many colors that meet established military color standards such as RAL, RLM and FS, making it a great choice for historically accurate models.

More sustainable packaging

Each paint comes in a fully transparent 18ml bottle made from recycled and recyclable r-PET plastic. The clear bottle makes it easy to identify the color and monitor the remaining paint.
