The TDS-3 water quality tester is designed to test water purity and additionally measures its temperature. It measures the total amount of any PPM substances dissolved in the water. For results higher than 999 ppm, the symbol [x10] appears on the reader. The memory function allows you to save the measurement for later reading, while giving an acoustic signal.

The built-in electronic thermometer will measure the temperature in the range of 0°C to 80°C or 32°F - 176°F.

The water quality meter is easy and convenient to use and has a very wide range of applications, it can be used to assess water in a tap, aquarium, swimming pool, river, etc., which will greatly facilitate the work of water treatment or adding the appropriate amount of substances.

If the properties of the tested water do not change for 3 minutes, the device stops operation and turns off automatically after 10 minutes of inactivity.

The measurement takes place at the level of water conductivity, so you can check the amount of dissolved salts. Crystal clear water does not conduct electricity and as the dissolved substances increase, ions appear in the water. The more anions and cations, the better the electrical conductivity. Devices such as water testers provide results in ppm, i.e. mg of substance per ml of water.

Water 0-170 PPM is perfect for drinking.
Water 170-500 PPM is medium quality water.
Water of 500 PPM and above is polluted water.
