A high-quality network tester – a wire pair finder – allows you to identify wires in cable bundles and pinpoint the cables assigned to specific sockets. Correct indication is signaled by a clear, modulated audible signal.
Thanks to the sockets in the transmitter and the included cables, it is possible to identify both Ethernet (RJ45) and telephone (RJ11) cables.
The tester consists of two parts:
transmitter-generator and receiver-detector allowing for convenient searching and testing of the correctness of computer network elements up to 300 m long.
The receiver-detector is equipped with an LED light, which is helpful when working in dimly lit areas. The set includes headphones to aid in locating cables in noisy environments.
The tester (transmitter and receiver) comes with accessories such as an RJ-11 telephone cable, an RJ-45 Ethernet cable, a cable with alligator clips (crocodile type), headphones, and a battery.
