XR2206 function generator - 1Hz to 1MHz DIY kit for self-assembly
The simple function generator is based on the XR2206 integrated circuit, which you need to assemble yourself.

The whole thing is enclosed in a transparent, aesthetic plexiglass housing. A signal is generated in the frequency range from 1Hz to 1MHz.
The amplitude of the output signals is 0-3V for sine and triangle signals, and 3V for a square signal.
The amplitude for the square wave signal has no adjustment.

XR2206 generator technical data:

The generator is based on the XR2206 system
Frequency range: 1 Hz to 1 MHz
Potentiometer to adjust the output amplitude
Power supply (DC-Jack): 9-12 V
Signal output:
- GND – output ground
- SQR – square wave signal output
- SIN/Tri – sine or triangle signal output
Connector:
- J1: for selecting the range of generated frequencies (frequency ranges printed on the housing)
- J2: is used to select the type of waveform between sine wave and triangle
Potentiometers:
- AMP – to adjust the output amplitude value for the SIN/Tri output
- Fine – to adjust the fine output frequency
- Coar – for coarse adjustment of the output frequency
Note: No protection against exceeding the permissible supply voltage or reverse polarity - incorrect connection will damage the generator.
