Modernized extruder

Prusa MINI+ uses an innovative extruder design solution. Moving the extruder motor to the Z-axis column made it possible to reduce its weight. The Bowden drive, which has a ratio of 3:1, allows you to efficiently move a filament with a diameter of 1.75mm.

Prusa MINI+ working area

Despite its small size, the printer allows you to create models with dimensions of up to 180x180x180mm. The use of TMC2209 controllers made it possible to eliminate limit switches in the device design. The printing platform is automatically aligned according to the grid lines.

Easily remove prints

Removable spring steel plates make it extremely easy to remove prints from the Prusa MINI+. The magnetic pad adheres perfectly to the heated bed while forming the model. When you are finished, you can remove it and safely tear off the print without risking damage.

Easy control of advanced functions

The original Prusa MINI+ is controlled via a panel with a 2.8-inch display and a resolution of 280 x 320 pixels. A clear and intuitive menu makes it easy to access all printer options. The device allows you to start printing an object with one click. After installing the portable disk with the finished model, its preview will appear on the screen. All you have to do is agree to start working.

Innovative Buddy motherboard

The company used an innovative “Buddy” motherboard in the Prusa MINI+ printer. This patented solution from the manufacturer is based on 32-bit architecture. The Trinamic 2209 drivers used not only ensure the quiet operation of the device, but also guarantee its high efficiency.

Advanced safety features of the Prusa MINI+

The original Prusa MINI+ has a number of protection measures that protect users from unpleasant surprises. The printer has a high-class power supply and three thermistors that ensure stable operation. The device also has a Power Panic function that allows you to return to work after a power outage.

SuperPINDA sensor, improved Y-axis and modified software

The SuperPinda sensor is responsible for leveling the table. It is temperature-resistant, so changes in it do not affect the operation of the sensor. This feature is especially important when printing the first layer of the print. The Prusa MINI+ model uses metal Y-axis bearing housings. This solution is easier to install and provides better structural support. The printer software, version 4.0.5, has been improved, including: the Prusa Connect Local function.
