The FY01 series linear actuators are universal electric actuators designed for medium loads.
Linear actuator applications:

Construction of a linear actuator:
The housing of the FY01 electric actuator is made of a durable aluminum alloy, the piston rod is a cylindrical aluminum profile. These actuators are dedicated to indoor applications, which is why their tightness standard is IP43.
The actuator uses a worm gear with a steel worm and a polymer worm wheel. This solution guarantees quiet and failure-free operation. The gear is coupled with a screw mechanism built into the piston rod of the linear actuator. The screw mechanism consists of a multi-pitch trapezoidal screw with a high-strength polymer nut. This solution ensures long-term, failure-free operation of the mechanism due to the self-lubricating properties of the material from which the nut is made.
The actuator motor is a brush DC motor with a rated power of 55 W. The rated voltage for this actuator is 24 V, which is a very common standard in industrial automation.
Installing the electric actuator:
The electric actuator is mounted using 8mm pins, pivotally mounting at its base and in the piston rod hole.
Electric actuator control:
The use of a classic DC brush motor provides very simple control of the actuator. After applying voltage to the actuator terminals, it extends. After reversing the polarity of the supply voltage, the actuator folds. We can regulate the actuator's extension speed by adjusting its supply voltage.
Inside the electric actuator housing, limit switches are permanently installed. They prevent the piston rod from extending too far or from blocking it when retracting.
After applying the supply voltage, the actuator extends until it reaches full extension. After reaching full extension, the nut inside activates the limit switch and the actuator stops. After reversing the supply polarity, the actuator retracts until it is fully retracted and activates the second limit switch.
We can control the actuator using a radio control unit with relays, manually using buttons and relays, or use PLC systems, intelligent buildings or other advanced systems based on microcontrollers for this purpose.
