Freewell White Snow Mist 1/4 filter for Real Locking VND
The Freewell White Snow Mist 1/4 is designed for filmmakers who want to add a subtle glow to their photos and footage without sacrificing detail. The filter is part of the Freewell Real Locking system, a modular solution based on a snap-on mount that allows you to quickly change filters without threading. White Snow Mist provides a more subtle effect than the classic Black Mist, making it ideal for bright scenes, portraits and videos with natural light.
Soft mist effectThe filter gently softens lights, boosts bright parts of the image and smooths contrasts, creating a pleasant diffused glow. It can be used alone or in combination with the Variable Density Filter (VND) and Polarizing Filter (CPL) from the same system. By using it as an overlay on top of VND/CPL, you gain full control over exposure and flare without sacrificing the film fog effect.
Stable mount and compact protective caseA locking system based on two snaps allows you to attach the filter quickly and securely - with no backlash and no accidental shifting during use. The kit comes with a shock-resistant case that protects the filter from dust and scratches, while not taking up much space in your bag or backpack.
