LayFilaments Laywood-Flex - 2.85mm - 0.25kg

LayFilaments new version of their now classical wood filament - LAYWOOD-FLEX. German inventor Kai Parthy is back again with another interesting filament. His latest fiddling has given the added property of flexibility to his wood filament, Laywoo-D3. Laywood-Flex brings the bendability of tree branches to the 3D printable filament, without being rubber-like.
Laywood prints are otherwise quite rigid with high tensile strength and tend to break faster, but Laywood-Flex has a higher elasticity with slightly lower tensile strength.
In a nutshell, LAYWOOD has higher tensile strength but will break under enough pressure. LAYWOOD-FLEX, meanwhile, has a lower tensile strength but has a far higher degree of elasticity. Perfect for 3D printing belts, imitations of wooden decorations or even small pieces of furniture (and whatever else your making mind comes up with).

Main features:

• No (or minimal) warping
• Rough or smooth surfaces that can be sanded
• 3D printable tree-rings (185 °C to 255 °C) are possible, depending on temperature and printing speeds. Elasticity will be higher on darker layers
• Sticks well to ABS paint on cold platforms or blue tape
• Print directly on Kapton-tape with a 50 °C platform
• Contains ~ 35% recycled wood, as well as harmless binders made by co-polyesters
• Nozzle: 0.5 mm

Purchased items are delivered locally through Venipak service. Depending on availability of items, orders are processed within 1-3 work days. Orders made until 1AM are shipped the same day.

Local delivery  (1-2 w.d.) price for items of any size is through through courier service is 4.50€ (incl. VAT). 

Local delivery price to Venipak parcel terminals (1-3w.d.) is 2.50€ incl. VAT.

Local delivery price to Omniva parcel terminals (1-3w.d.) is 3.50€ incl. VAT.

Payment on delivery +2.00€ (incl. VAT).

You can pay for the goods at the time of delivery to the courier in cash or by credit card. Payment to Omniva parcel terminals is only possible by bank card.
