Makey Makey is a creative STEAM educational tool that allows children to experiment, create and discover technology through play. By connecting a banana, plasticine, a graphite pencil drawing, foil or other electrically conductive object, it can become a computer key, part of a musical instrument or a game controller.

The most important thing is that children see the result immediately. Touch the button they have created and a sound is heard on the computer, a character moves or another programmed action occurs. This makes even the first introduction to electrical circuits, conduction, programming and technology easy to understand and engaging.

One set – many different activities

Today, a class can create a banana piano, another lesson – an interactive poster, quiz or game controller, and later test their own invention.

Makey Makey is easy to integrate into different activities and subjects – STEAM, computer science, natural sciences, music, art or project activities. The teacher can easily change the complexity of the tasks: from a simple experiment “what conducts electricity?” to an interactive project or creating your own game.

Designed for work with the whole class a

The Makey Makey STEM Pack is a classroom set specially prepared for educational institutions. It contains 12 Makey Makey sets, so it is possible to organize work for several groups or pairs of students at the same time.

Students can not only complete the tasks given by the teacher, but also create their own solutions, experiment, collaborate and test ideas in practice. There is no one right result here - the same tools can be used by different groups for completely different inventions.

Easy to get started

No complicated preparation is required. Makey Makey connects to your computer via USB, and you can use a variety of materials and everyday objects already in your classroom for activities.

The kit is compatible with Chromebook, Windows, macOS, and Linux, and you can create even more interactive projects with Scratch.
