Phaetus DXC 2 Extruder Creality K2 Series

The DXC2 introduces a patented magnetic snap structure that completely removes the need for screws during maintenance. With a simple click, the front plate can be detached or reattached in just one second, giving instant access to the filament path and internal components.

This design makes routine cleaning faster and far more convenient compared to traditional extruders that require tools and multiple screws. It also reduces downtime, allowing users to quickly return to printing.

At the core of the DXC2 is the D3vil Fang cutting system, built around a rigid modular metal frame. Unlike traditional fixed blade systems, the replaceable blade design simplifies maintenance and reduces long-term operating costs.

The cutting blades are made from ultra-hard tool steel with a DLC coating, providing exceptional wear resistance and self-lubricating properties. This makes them particularly suitable for abrasive filaments such as carbon-fiber reinforced materials.

Stable extrusion starts with precise filament control. The DXC2 uses a helical gear design that progressively engages the filament rather than gripping it abruptly like traditional straight-cut gears.

This progressive engagement improves feeding accuracy, reduces vibration, and lowers filament wear by up to 60%. The larger contact area also minimizes deformation marks and significantly reduces the risk of filament slipping during long prints.

The synchronized dual-gear system increases the filament contact area and ensures consistent feeding throughout the printing process. By maintaining even pressure and precise control, the extruder reduces common print artifacts such as vertical fine artifacts (VFA), zebra banding, and visible layer lines.

The result is smoother surfaces and improved dimensional accuracy across a wide range of materials.

The DXC2 features patented RNC ultra-wear-resistant coated gears with a hardness rating of HV3300. These gears dramatically improve durability and extend the service life up to three times compared to conventional hardened steel gears.

They are specifically optimized for abrasive and high-performance filaments, including carbon-fiber composites, making the DXC2 a reliable solution for demanding applications.

An integrated filament sensor positioned close to the extruder provides accurate runout and break detection. By monitoring filament flow near the feeding point, the system reduces material waste during filament changes and prevents failed prints caused by unnoticed filament breaks.

Local delivery price to Venipak parcel terminals (1-3w.d.) is 2.90€ incl. VAT, if the amount of the shopping cart exceeds 50€ - delivery is free.
