PrimaCreator™ EasyPrint FLEX TPU 98A

EasyPrint FLEX TPU 98A is a high-performance flexible filament developed with a focus on strength, controlled flexibility and reliability. Compared to softer TPU grades, 98A offers a more rigid feel while still maintaining elasticity, making it ideal for functional and semi-rigid applications.

The material is made from TPU, one of the most widely used polymers in flexible 3D printing. It features low shrinkage, minimal warping, excellent durability and strong resistance to chemicals and oils, making it perfect for both prototyping and end-use parts.

With a Shore hardness of 98A, this filament sits in the “semi-flex” category but leans more toward functional rigidity. It feels similar to a hard rubber wheel or protective casing, making it ideal when you need both flexibility and structural integrity.

Thanks to this higher hardness, EasyPrint FLEX TPU 98A is:

• Easier to print than softer TPU (like 85A–95A)
• Compatible with 
both direct drive and many Bowden setups
• Less prone to stringing and buckling during printing

Like other TPU materials, you can easily adjust the flexibility of your print:

• 
Low infill = Soft, compressible, flexible parts
• High infill = Strong, semi-rigid parts similar to hard rubber

This makes it perfect for a wide range of applications such as:

• Functional seals and gaskets
• Protective covers and housings
• Wheels, rollers and dampers
• Tool grips and handles
• Wear-resistant mechanical parts

EasyPrint FLEX TPU 98A has very low material shrinkage, making it easy to print on most FDM/FFF printers. Warping is minimal, and smaller parts can often be printed without a heated bed.

For best results:
• Heated bed: 
40–60°C
• Use adhesive like PrimaFIX for optimal first layer adhesion

TPU is hygroscopic, meaning it absorbs moisture from the air. For best print quality:

• Store in an airtight container with desiccant
• If needed, dry filament at ~70°C for 1 hour

• Print speed: 
15–35 mm/s
• Use moderate retraction settings
• Keep filament dry
• Use a heated bed for larger prints
• Ensure smooth filament path for best feeding

Purchased items are delivered locally through Venipak service. Depending on availability of items, orders are processed within 1-3 work days. Orders made until 1AM are shipped the same day.

Local delivery  (1-4 w.d.) price for items of any size is through through courier service is 4.90€ (incl. VAT), if the amount of the shopping cart exceeds 150€ - delivery is free.

Local delivery price to Venipak parcel terminals (1-3w.d.) is 2.90€ incl. VAT, if the amount of the shopping cart exceeds 50€ - delivery is free.
