The Shelly 1 Gen4 Zigbee/Matter is a compact flush-mounted controller with potential-free contacts that allows for remote control of various electrical devices—both via a local network and the internet. The device supports multiple communication protocols (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, Matter), making it easy to integrate with your preferred home automation system. It can be integrated with popular platforms such as Google Home, Alexa, and SmartThings. The controller is ideal for residential, office, hotel, and other facilities. The set includes two controllers.

Integration with any system

The Shelly 1 Gen4 controller supports four main wireless communication protocols: Zigbee (802.15.4), Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.2, and Matter. This allows you to choose which medium to use based on your installation’s capabilities and smart home ecosystem. The product also functions as a Zigbee repeater, which extends the network range. In the event of a weak Wi-Fi signal, it can act as a Wi-Fi booster, increasing connection stability.

Remote access and schedules

The device can operate both on a local Wi-Fi network and over the internet, enabling remote access regardless of the user’s location. The built-in web interface allows for configuration and control without the need to install additional apps. The advanced scheduling system lets you define detailed scenarios based on the day of the week, hour, and even the second, which works well for automating lighting, ventilation, or garden watering, among other things.

Compatibility with apps and systems

The Shelly 1 Gen4 model works with many home automation systems. It supports HTTP API, MQTT(S), Webhooks, the UDP protocol, and virtual components. Additionally, it offers compatibility with the KNX net/IP system. Thanks to support for scripts in the ShellyScript language, it is possible to create custom rules and operational logic.
