LOCTITE 7063 is a solvent-based, single-component product that is CFC-free and designed for washing and degreasing surfaces intended for bonding with Loctite products. Highly flammable, it serves as an alternative to 1.1.1 trichloroethane. This solution is recommended for the final pre-assembly preparation of surfaces to be bonded with LOCTITE adhesives. Its potent dissolving properties also make it effective for washing or degreasing parts in various applications.
Directions for Use:
- Primarily a cleaning agent, does not affect the curing speed or final strength of LOCTITE adhesives
- Ensures surface cleanliness for good adhesion and hardening of the glue
- Surfaces that are contaminated or not washed thoroughly may reduce adhesive effectiveness
