FNIRSI FNAC-28 is a universal USB-A and USB-C connector tester that combines voltage, current, power measurement functions and fast charging support in one compact device. It is designed to test chargers, cables, external chargers and other devices powered by USB ports. Having 2 measurement inputs, the tester allows you to simultaneously test the charging parameters of different types of cables and devices, which increases its versatility. The color OLED display shows all the main data: input voltage, current and current strength. These readings are visible in real time and easily accessible thanks to the intuitive menu and function buttons located on the case.

Accurate measurement and control of large loads

The integrated 16-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) ensures high measurement accuracy, which is especially important for laboratory and technical testing. The tester supports loads up to 6.5 A, and the USB-C port allows for bidirectional power transfer. This allows you to not only measure power parameters, but also analyze the quality of power transfer in both directions, which is very important when testing devices with the Power Delivery function.

Automatic recognition of fast charging protocols

FNAC-28 automatically recognizes the most important fast charging protocols, including QC 2.0, QC 3.0, AFC, SCP, FCP, Apple 2.4A, VOOC, SVOOC and PE. When you connect a charger or device, the tester provides a list of supported standards and voltage and current values. You can also enable charging simulation, which allows you to check the charger's compliance with a particular standard and its actual operation.

Extensive measurement functions

Using the cable test function, FNAC-28 can not only detect damage, but also measure the cable resistance and evaluate its ability to transmit current. The tester also allows you to simulate the load of the device, so you can check whether the cable is working properly under real load conditions. The device can perform a battery capacity test, record time, current and energy consumption. The FNAC-28 records up to five sets of measurement data, which are automatically stored in the device. This makes it easy to assess battery wear or test new cells before installing them in equipment.

Advanced setup functions

The FNAC-28 allows you to adjust the screen brightness, set the standby mode activation time and select the temperature unit (°C/°F). In addition, the device supports switching the interface language between English and Chinese. The tester can also simulate standard charging profiles such as Apple 2.4A or DASH, so you can perform comprehensive tests of power supplies without connecting additional devices. In addition, the tester can display data in the form of graphs in three modes: classic - with real-time voltage and current, D+/D- line data voltage analysis mode and voltage disturbance analysis mode, which detects power supply instability.
