The Wemos MEGA 2560 + WIFI is a highly enhanced version of the Arduino MEGA with an additional ESP8266 microprocessor and WiFi connection module installed. It can be called a "real beast." Everything has been improved: built-in WiFi connection module, in addition to the ATmega2560 processor there is a more powerful ESP8266, more memory for storing and executing programs, 4 UART connections, many more input and output (I / O) pins - even 70, 16 of which are analog input, so you no longer have to worry about too few connections when connecting a 3D printer or project with many sensors. If you want to create a complex project, this microcontroller is just for you.
The larger number of UART connections allows you to read the serial connection (Serial COM) of the Arduino IDE console while communicating with other UART devices, which is not possible with the standard UNO model.
