Description Product Delivery

The EM422S stepper motor driver is a new digital stepper motor driver based on the widely used Leadshine DM stepper motors (10 million drivers installed in live applications). Leadshine has improved it by applying the latest stepper control technology and adding additional advanced features such as higher torque (10-25%), faster response time, smoother control commands, easy self-testing, etc. The EM422S driver features simple structure, easy setting, high accuracy, smooth operation and reliability. The EM422S driver can smoothly drive 2-phase and 4-phase stepper motors, generating very low heat and noise during motor operation. It can accept 18-36V DC supply voltage and 0.5-2.2A output current. Its control mode (step and direction or clockwise/counterclockwise) and smooth command filtering time are easily configurable via DIP switches. This makes the EM422S an ideal choice for many applications that require simple step and direction control or clockwise/counterclockwise control of NEMA 8, NEMA 11, NEMA 14 and NEMA 17 stepper motors.

The EM422S stepper drive can be used in various industries (CNC machine tools, electronics manufacturing, medical, automation, packaging, etc.) in applications such as CNC milling machines, plasma cutters, laser cutters, assembly lines, vending machines, etc.
